Welcome to Winster House, luxury self catering accommodation
in Windermere the Lake District.

We are situated midway between the Lake District villages of Windermere and Bowness in a quiet residential area but within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and Lake Windermere which offers various lake excursions.

The apartments are located on the ground floor of our home "Winster House", being a split-level property. They are cosy and beautifully appointed with much thought having been given to your comfort and relaxation, each unit accommodates 2 persons.

The Apartments

Each apartment has its own patio within the garden, which you are welcome to enjoy. Private parking is also provided within the grounds.

There are two studio apartments, "Little Winster" and "Bowness Studio" both have ingenious pull down double beds, which hinge away against the wall and out of sight complete with bedding to give maximum space in the apartments during the day. At night, simply pull down and the bed is ready for use. They are extremely comfortable, having very good quality matresses.

Both units have full cooking facilities of 4 ring hob and electric oven, together with a microwave. They are centrally heated and have a comfortable settee, colour television and dining area.
"Bowness Studio" has an en-suite shower room, whilst "Little Winster" has a large bathroom with both bath and shower. We can also offer the "Windermere Suite" which has a smaller living room with kitchen but has the luxury of a separate double bedroom and en suite bathroom which has both bath and shower.
All units have ironing facilities and linen and towels are provided. We have a non smoking policy and regrettably are unable to accommodate pets except by special arrangement in "Bowness Studio".

We also offer bed and breakfast in a separate en suite room. This is available at a special discounted price if you wish to use it to extend your stay by a day or two at either end of your holiday. Do please contact us for further details.
