Here at Waterhead Hotel we have 24 bedrooms, some offering
spectacular views over our beautiful gardens.

Due to the layout of the building all rooms vary in size and layout giving each one a unique character of its own. We have double, twin and family rooms and can also provide extra beds and cots at no extra cost so can suit almost any combination!One of the rooms is suitable for wheelchair users, is on the ground floor and has adequate turning space in the bedroom and handrails in the bathroom.

With a friendly, relaxed 'home from home' feel, the Waterhead Hotel makes the perfect retreat. Relax in the comfortable lounge bar area with views across the hotel lawns down to the lake.

All rooms are en-suite with shower and/or bath, complimentary toiletries, remote control colour TV and radio, hairdryer and hospitality trays replenished daily.

Dogs are welcome at Waterhead Hotel and our grounds are perfect for walking them although they are not permitted in the public rooms. Please let us know at time of booking if you will be bringing a dog.

Check in time is guaranteed from 2pm and rooms should be vacated on the day of departure by 11am.

Restaurant

The 'Mountain View' restaurant looks out onto magnificent mountain scenery and offers excellent local cuisine.

The Waterhead Hotel can be booked 7 days a week for Civil functions (please contact the Hotel for availability – terms & conditions apply) We can accommodate for bookings from as few as 2 guests and cater for up to 200 in a Marquee. The Waterhead gardens are the perfect venue for a marquee, with views of the beautiful surrounding lake district & a private jetty onto the tranquil Coniston Water.
