This lovely cottage on the edge of Hawkshead is owned and maintained by a local family. This 3 bedroomed family home with a good sized sunny garden is ideal for those who wish to be able to leave the car on the drive and walk from the doorstep either to the hills or the village.

Hawkshead, itself described as one of the prettiest villages in the Lake District provides an excellent base for those wanting to explore the mountains and lakes or simply wander around the flower-filled lanes and cobbled yards or enjoy a pint and a meal in one of the local pubs.

THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES OF

The kitchen has a large gas range and dining table . There is a dishwasher, microwave and upright fridge/freezer (the washing machine is in an outside utility room)

The stylish lounge has comfortable seating, open fire, TV with DVD and is beautifully decorated.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The master room is light and airy with subtle blue shades. It offers great views to the mountains - from the bed! There is a pretty twin room and a single. The large family bathroom has a shower over the bath, wc and basin.

The cottage is heated throughout by gas central heating.

Outside-There is a shared south facing sunny lawned garden and patio to the rear of the cottage with its own garden chairs, picnic table and BBQ - an ideal place to eat “al fresco” or to simply unwind at the end of the day.
