Meadfoot offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a peaceful and quiet setting but within 2 minutes walk of the lively Lake District village of Windermere.

The guest house is located on the edge of Windermere village and is therefore ideally situated for the local shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities.

We offer complimentary use of Parklands Country Club just 5 minutes away in Bowness, with swimming pool. sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gymnasium, badminton, table tennis, squash, snooker & bar facilities.

Although close to this bustling and lively Lake District village, Meadfoot is a detached guest house set in its own grounds and has an almost secluded nature. In addition to the private car park there is a large garden with patio and summerhouse for guest use.

Bedrooms

The five bedrooms (1 family suite, 2 double and 2 Four Poster's) are tastefully furnished with mainly traditional pine furniture and all have garden views away from the road.

All bedrooms have full en-suite facilities, colour
televisions, clock radios, hairdryers, hospitality trays and fully controllable central heating.

Some bedrooms are on the ground floor and some even have direct access from the bedroom to the garden, 4 Poster rooms are also available.

For the comfort and safety of our guests, Meadfoot Guest House is exclusively Non Smoking.

The area feature French windows opening onto a balcony with spectacular views of the garden. We provide a varied breakfast menu and with notice we will attempt to cater for special requests.
