Our Victorian, stone & slate built home was probably a former holiday residence for a wealthy Southerner arriving after the 1847 railway reached Windermere. It is a fine example of a Victorian family holiday home of individual charm and character, restored sympathetically, retaining many of its lovely original features enhancing delightful accommodation.Your finishing touches? A hairdrier, iron and board can be bought to your room by request.

This superior large bedroom has soft furnishings with pleasing appeal. Double bed with brass head rail and crisp, white cotton sheets; Comfortable three-seat sofa & coffee table by Victorian fireplace. Dressing table with wide mirror; Wi-Fi; Flat screen T.V.
Clean, white tiled shower en-suite, well lit by large window.
