Low Hall Farm is a Victorian farmhouse owned by Holker Hall Estates but run by
Peter and Tracey Edmondson.  The farm is a working beef and sheep farm with land running from the Duddon estuary to Kirkby Moor.  It is set in peaceful countryside, offering spectacular views of the Duddon estuary and Lakeland fells.  The farmhouse itself is nestled into a hill with a mature wood running alongside.

As far as walking activities in the area there is a wealth of paths and bridleways, the Cumbrian Coastal Way runs through Kirkby-in-Furness and is only minutes away from the farm. Grizedale Forest is only 20 minutes away, offering paths, tracks, bridleways and mountain bike routes. We have a railway station at Kirkby-in-Furness with a good timetable of trains that could take you all the way up the Cumbrian coast.

We are conveniently situated for visiting the many attractions that Lakeland has to offer; indeed we are only a 45 minute drive from "Britain's Favourite View" at Wastwater in the Wasdale Valley.

For evening meals why not have a leisurely 15 minute stroll to The Ship Inn known for good home cooked food and real ales.

Bedrooms

Low Hall Farm is a spacious farmhouse, with all rooms having been recently refurbished. There are three extremely spacious guest rooms; two double rooms and one twin room, all rooms have en-suite shower rooms. All rooms have colour TV and videos, radio, full central heating, hospitality trays and toiletries. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available.  We also have a sofa bed available in one of the double rooms to accommodate children. We very much regret that we are unable to accept children under 10 years.
Full Sky TV package in guest lounge and selection of videos.

Dining / Lounge

Both the dining room and guest's own lounge have wood burning stoves with both rooms enjoying beautiful views. There is central heating throughout the farmhouse. To set you up for the day guests are assured of a traditional farmhouse English breakfast, all made with local  produce where possible.

Caravan Site

The caravan site is self contained, surrounded by dry stonewalls, mature trees and hedges, enjoying stunning views of the Duddon estuary and the Lakeland fells. The grounds are cared for to the highest standard. There is a slate gravel track running throughout the site giving excellent access to five hard standings. All pitches have electric hook up.

The site also has a modern well maintained centrally heated shower block with disabled access. There are two washrooms each containing washbasin, toilet and shower, there is a further room containing washbasin and toilet. There is a chemical disposal point, wastewater and refuge point with recycling facilities to the side of the shower block.
