Laurel Cottage is personally run by the owners, Gwen and John who offer you a warm & friendly welcome to this beautiful Victorian guest house built in the 1890s from local stone which has been sympathetically renovated & modernised for your comfort, yet has retained all its character & original features. It is peacefully situated just three minutes' walk from Windermere village centre & all its amenities.

Accommodation

The spacious bedrooms are tastefully furnished & decorated & have en-suite facilities, colour televisions, VHS Video, CD's, player, alarm clock radios,|
hospitality trays & a range of toiletries.

The superior room with magnificent four-poster bed. An extremely large room with views over Queen's park. Tastefully furnished with Sofa & TV/Video, CD, and Mini-cooler.

The Guest's Lounge is comfortable & spacious & is packed with maps, books on local walks & climbs & many other magazines & books for your perusal. There is also a choice of games for your enjoyment in the evenings.

Our choice of breakfast menu includes a hearty and traditional English breakfast where we use the best local produce available including Cumberland and Waberthwaite sausages & free range eggs. For those who prefer a lighter breakfast we offer fruits in season & locally made yoghurts, choice of cereals, we also cater for vegetarians and offer a range of options including vege. sausages and bacon.

Prices are per person per night and are based on two adults sharing. Breakfast included.

With regret we do not accept children under the age of five.
Very sorry no pets.

All rooms have tv/video, tea and coffee making, hairdryer and toiletries.
Superior room's have a mini cooler and sofa.
Wireless internet available in all rooms, with your own laptop.

Reductions may be available for longer stays.

ARRIVAL

Rooms are available from 3pm on your day of arrival. Please state your time of arrival when making your reservation and provide a mobile number. If this changes please let us know, this is to ensure someone is here to let you in.
Unfortunately we do not accept arrivals after 10pm for security reasons.


BOOKING TERMS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

To secure a reservation we require a valid debit or credit card number.
No money is taken at the time of making your booking, you pay during your stay.
We do not accept visa electron or other wipe only cards to secure a reservation.

For group bookings a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.

If prefered you may pay a deposit by cheque to cover the cost of the first nights stay.

We require 72 hours notice of cancellation, if we are unable to relet the room the full amount of the stay may be charged.

No shows will be charged the full amount of the stay.
