Knott View Barn is a large seven bedroom property located at the foot of Farleton Fell just 2 miles from the motorway and an excellent base for visiting the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. It is located in a small hamlet at the foot of Farleton Fell. Excellent views with easy access to the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. A large converted barn over 3 levels which has just completed a full re-furbishment

The three storey barn conversion was lovingly refurbished in Easter 2007, decorated to a high standard with Antique pine furniture coordinating decor, luxurious carpets, oak and tile floors, exposed stone walls and old beams in most rooms. It provides everything and more for a fantastic holiday, even if you don't choose to step a foot outside the door!

We have designed the property to be very child friendly keeping them well occupied with a games room, a cosy snug to chill out and watch TV and a fantastic outdoor play area to tire them out!

Bedrooms

All the bedrooms are furnished in antique pine and decorated accordingly to give that individual feel. There are two spacious king size rooms, one has a large walk in power shower with body jets and the other has a roll top cast bath. There is one double room which has a flat screen TV. There are three single rooms which have original Victorian sleigh beds, one of these is en-suite with an electric shower. There is also a twin bedroom on the ground floor.

Lounge

Large lounge with comfy sofas to seat 11 people, footstools, flat screen TV, digital freeview and DVD player. To compliment the decor there are plenty of coffee tables, lamps and a woodburning stove to give that lovely homely feel.

Kitchen

The kitchen/diner is huge with fabulous views towards Farleton Knott. The kitchen is very well equipped to include large American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, large electric range cooker with two ovens. Plenty of quality cutlery, pottery, pans etc. infact everything you need and more. In the kitchen there is a large farmhouse pine table to seat 8-10 and a smaller table to seat 4.

Games Room

There is a large well equipped games room which has a full size pool table, a football table, activity table for the smaller children and a large connect 4.

Snug

There is also a separate snug which has proved to be popular with the children. This is located just off the kitchen and has a sofa and big comfy floor cushions, a flat screen TV with DVD player, digital freeview and a selection of games.

Bathrooms

Apart from the ensuite accommodation there is also a separate toilet and washbasin, a house bathroom and a large shower room with a walk in power shower with body jets and under floor heating.

Utility/Drying Room

A separate well equipped room with sink, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Also plenty of hanging space for wet coats and muddy boots after exploring the Lakeland fells or just returning from a lazy ramble to the local pub!

Outside

Plenty of free parking and garden area, there is also a large private patio area which has a good selection of quality wooden garden furniture and barbeque. From the patio you have fabulous views towards Farleton Knott where you can also watch the children on the wooden play area which has swings, a slide, climbing net and sand pit all laid on safety cushioned chipped bark.
