Ivy House Hotel is a fine Grade 2 listed Georgian house, full of great charm and character in the pretty village of Hawkshead in the English Lake District. We take much pride in our reputation for providing comfortable accommodation in a friendly, informal atmosphere.
We are always on hand to welcome you personally on your arrival, and there is ample car parking for all our guests.
We hope that our guests will enjoy the comfortable surroundings and feel relaxed and at home in Ivy House Hotel. We have a log fire in our lounge most evenings. We are licenced and have a comprehensive list of wines. There are some delightful pubs & restaurants in the village of Hawkshead for those who enjoy a short walk and some real ale.
Bedrooms
We have six luxurious rooms in the main house. All bedrooms have en suite facilities and are attractively furnished, centrally heated and equipped with colour televisions
and hot-drinks trays.
Children are welcome, with cots and high chairs provided where necessary. We have two rooms that can be used as family rooms and four rooms that have 4-posters and 3 of the rooms can be split to provide twin rooms.

We have a full a la carte restaurant with top chefs providing a comprehensive exciting and delicious menu:

The price includes:
- Full English breakfast (served 8.30am to 9.00am).
- Accommodation - all rooms have private bathrooms.
- All rooms have a remote control colour television and complimentary hospitality tray with tea, coffee, chocolate break, etc.
- VAT is included at 17.5%
Single occupancy rate is £55.00pppn
A deposit of £20.00pp (£10 per child) is required when booking.
N.B. We are one of the few hotels in the village able to offer private parking for all our guests at the rear of the hotel.
