TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRES
Within Cumbria, The Lake District and the surrounding
districts you will find a number of Tourist Information Centres,
where you can gather information and advice on Where To Go,
Travel, Events and Accommodation.
At all Tourists Information Centres you will
find a free local booking service and at some of the Centres
you can arrange to book your accommodation in advance. A few
offer a Bureau-de-change service.
Guide Books, Maps and gifts can be purchased, and also, at
some of the Centres you may find displays of the area and
it's history.
 At
the Centres you will find an Events Book which is free and
gives information on daily events within Cumbria from April

Not all Tourist Information Centres are open all year. In
the list below, you will find the Information Centres which
open all year and those that are only seasonal. It would be
advisable to contact them for their times of opening, especially
those which are open out of season.
