A mile and a half away from Cockermouth and set in 14 acres it is the perfect location for exploring the Northern Lake District.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms are en suite and have the usual facilities you would expect from a country house hotel. (TV, Tea and coffee making facilities, Hair dryer, Direct dial telephones).

Rooms vary from being double, twin or single and three family rooms are also available.

For that special occasion there are luxury bedrooms with views over the Lorton valley and the splendid superior suite with its own private balcony overlooking our paddocks.
All the rooms within the hotel are on the first and second floors.

Within the courtyard at the side of the hotel we have two bedrooms specifically designed for persons with disabilities. The courtyard area also contains our superior suite and luxury bedrooms, perfect for a quiet getaway.

Superior Suite

Our Superior Suite is a fantastic room. It has a large private balcony with stunning views, queen size bed, dining and lounge areas. All our rooms have television, direct dial telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.

Luxury Bedrooms

Our Luxury Bedrooms are beautifully furnished with a king size bed and large en-suite bathroom. All our rooms have television, direct dial telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.

Classic Bedrooms

Our Classic Bedrooms are beautifully furnished with superb
en-suite bathrooms. All our rooms have television, direct dial telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.

Family Bedrooms

We have three Family Bedrooms. The largest room has a double, single and bunk beds and can sleep up to five people. We also have cots available to hire free of charge. All our rooms have television, direct dial telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.

Restaurant & Dining

Our comfortable dining room offers a fine selection of home cooked food prepared to your liking. The food is traditional and varied and the portions are not for the faint hearted.
Sunday lunches are a big local favourite and again the food is traditional and plentiful. Reservations are recommended to confirm your table in the restaurant.

Rotarians, Lions, Speakers, Golf, and Rugby clubs are just a few of the local organizations that frequently use the Hundith Hill Hotel for their annual dinner dances.
Dinner menus can be designed to meet your requirements should you wish to deviate from the published selection.
