High Wray Farm lies amid rolling hills above the quiet Western Shores of Lake Windermere, from here you can stroll along the quiet lanes and explore the beautiful lake shore path. The more energetic could ramble around the many woodland paths over Claife Hights and admire the spectacular views from Latterbarrow. All around there are plenty of things to see and do and local towns and villages to visit.
In the dining room you can enjoy a full cooked farmhouse breakfast, freshly prepared using local produce, and farm fresh free range eggs, or you may have a breakfast of your choice.

This newly converted former Stable is situated within the steading at High Wray Farm. The cottage has two en-suite bedrooms a lounge dining area and kitchen, equipped and furnished to a high standard. This cottage also has the benefit of being fully accessible for disabled visitors.
With many extra features ensuring wheelchair users or anyone with limited mobility will have an enjoyable stay.
Prices range from £30.00-£32.00 per person per night.

The Stable Cottage boasts spectacular uninterrupted views across the valley towards the Langdale Pikes and The Fairfield Horseshoe.
Two miles along the road you can explore the beautiful village of Hawkshead with its clusters of whitewashed houses and cottages, Hawkshead has four pubs and many tea shops offering a wide selection of excellent food.
If you wish to prepare your own food in the well equipped kitchen, the village shops provide an excellent range of produce and supplies.
The milk man calls at the farm daily, our local butcher calls on Tuesdays and Thursday (orders can be left for him at the farmhouse)
Tea/Coffee and a pint of milk are awaiting your arrival, the beds are ready made and towels are provided.
Sheila & Chris are on hand in the farmhouse to help and advise you about local walks and places to visit. Bed & Breakfast accommodation is also available in the farmhouse should you have friends or family who wish to join you for part or all of your stay.
