You will find plenty of local walks and the ever popular Orrest Head with excellent views of the Lake Windermere and the Lakeland fells and beyound. Plenty of activities can be found close by fishing, cycling and mountain biking, boating, and horse riding. Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick, Hawkshead, Coniston and the Langdale Valley are all within 20 - 40 minutes drive by car making us a ideal choice to stay.
