Whatever the time of year, you will enjoy a relaxing break at Greenah Crag, a former traditional Lakeland hill farm nestling in the lee of a rocky outcrop from which it takes its name, and overlooked by Blencathra. We offer a choice of traditional Cumbrian bed and breakfast or self catering cottage accommodation.
Situated in a quiet yet accessible corner of the Lake District National Park, the farmhouse, which dates back to the 1700s with a later Victorian addition has been tastefully modernised and is fully centrally heated.
Our guest accommodation comprises two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, and one twin bedded room with washbasin. All the bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities.
A hearty traditional English breakfast served in the oak-beamed dining room will set you up for the day.
We offer home baked bread and preserves, Cumberland sausage from our local butcher, and serve other locally sourced produce wherever possible.
Guests are welcome to relax in the comfortable sitting room with its TV and woodburning stove - a cosy place on the coldest of days.
