Situated on the fringe of the beautiful English Lake district, the family-run Grange Hotel was built in 1866 in an elegant Italianate style.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard, each of our 50 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms has satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, tea & coffee-making facilities and hairdryer.

We have good cause to feel proud of our cuisine. We use the very best of fresh, local produce to present our guests with the finest of Cumbrian fare, whether it be a sumptuous 5-course table d`hote candlelit Dinner served in our elegant Carriages Restaurant or a light but delicious meal
from our Lounge Menu.

We also believe that breakfast should be one of the highlights of the day! That`s why we offer a superb choice on our Breakfast Buffet every morning - including a selection of home-baked breads, fresh fruit and a heart-warming English Breakfast selection.

We also cater for special diets and have a great selection of dishes for the children too!

Leisure Facilities

Our Health & Leisure Suite is open from 7am to 10pm daily and is the ideal place to start or end your day. The spacious heated pool is equipped with optional power jets for those who prefer an invigorating swim that works out the muscles.

There is a roomy, 12-person Jacuzzi, a sauna and steam room as well as a fast-tan solarium and a well-equipped gym. We also offer a wide range of health & beauty treatments* in our Beauty Salon. Our team of fully-qualified Beauty Therapists offer aromatherapy massage as well as skin-purifying treatments using the prestigious THALGO range of products and professional manicures using the NAILTIQUES system. We also offer Botox treatments and Physiotherapy consultations by fully-qualified, experienced practitioners.
