Situated in Bowness-on-Windermere, Elim Lodge is an attractive Victorian Guest House, built around 1860 in the local stone and slate style. We are only a short walk from Lake Windermere and situated in a quiet road close to local attractions, shops and restaurants. A ten minutes walk away is the classic Lake District viewpoint at Biskey Howe.

Elim Lodge offers value-for-money bed and breakfast accommodation. All our bedrooms are stylishly furnished and offer a high standard of cleanliness. Other facilities include a complementary hot drinks tray, hair dryer, wash basin and central heating. Guests will also find a relaxed ambience to really enjoy their break in the Lake District.

Bedrooms

 

Children are very welcome and we can provide a high chair and a cot with bedding. Babies stay for free and we offer special rates for families with children under 13 years old.

Dining

The Elim Lodge breakfast, served in the Victorian dining room, is both filling and tasty and features the best of local ingredients, and Fairtrade Tea and Coffee. We also offer a full Vegetarian cooked breakfast, and lighter options.

 

After a long and tiring day exploring the Lake District National Park,
guests are welcome to relax in our garden catching the afternoon and evening sun.

We welcome well behaved pets.

Elim Lodge has its own private off-road parking and is only one mile away from Windermere railway and coach station.
