A warm Cumbrian welcome with a taste of luxury. CROFT HOUSE, situated in the North west of England in the Eden Valley, between Lake District,
on the foot of the Pennine hills in Cumbria.
Built in 1819 Croft House is a traditional sandstone built farmhouse in the small village of Newbiggin, making this an ideal place from which to explore Hadrians Wall, the Lake District and the Borders of Scotland or just walking in unspoiled scenic countryside.

Your hosts at Croft House are David and Dorothy Dixon. The Dixon family have farmed in the country as far back as yeoman farmers in 1700.
This is a relatively new enterprise for us both, but with Dorothy having worked in the hotel trade, from Keswick to the North-East, customer care is well taken care of.
