Lakeland Leisure Park, on the south Lakeland Peninsula offers all that you could wish for in a holiday park.Set on the doorstep of the beautiful Lake District National Park,the site offers the peace and tranquility associated with the Lake District as well as offering all of the facilities expected of a Haven site.
The area is popular with young and old alike and although being in a less commercialised area than the larger towns of the Lake District it is still only 20 minute drive from lake Windermere,boasting the familiar towns of Bowness and Windermere.
THE CARAVAN
A 3 year old Silver Grade caravan sleeping up to 8 people, measuring 37' x 12'. Outside is a small patio area with table and chairs, ideal for relaxing outdoors in the summer months. Very close by is the sport field making it an ideal spot for families with children as there is plenty of room for ball games etc without having to move to far away from the caravan. The caravan is also close to all of the facilities that the site has to offer including the laundrette and supermarket.
There are three bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms with ample wardrobe space.
There is a separate toilet and family bathroom with shower.The kitchen has a full size oven,microwave and fridge with freezer compartment.
The lounge boasts a large settee area and has TV,DVD and freeview.

Although children are more than welcome, pets are not allowed.

WHAT
TO SEE AND DO
Holker
Hall, Gardens and Motor Museum only a 5 minute
drive away is an impressive stately home set in
122 acres of parkland where herds of fallow deer
have roamed for over 200 years. It is also home
to the Lakeland Motor Museum. During the year

South
Lakes Wild Animal Park is unique open zoo
and one off UKs best wildlife conservation Zoo
Park. Home to a wide vareity of wild animals from
around the world where you can walk through and
can touch and feed a number of animals.
Aquarium
of the Lakes is a well set out and informative
centre to visit on a rainy day. The aquarium contains
many species of fish found in the lakes. You could
take a steam train ride from Haverthwaite
to the aquarium, then take a boat ride over to
Fell
Foot Park or even take a Lake
Windermere Boat Cruise.
A visit to Ulverston
on market day will charm you and also the birthplace
of Stan Laurel, discover the Laurel
and Hardy Musuem. South Lakeland offers the
Coastal Town of Grange-over-Sands known as the
Cumbrian Riviera with its views across Morecambe
Bay. The town has been popular as a tourist trap
since the Victorian times and the picturesque
village of Cartmel
is only a short drive away.
Have fun at Ducky's Farm meeting the animals
whilst learning about farming methods in a friendly,
safe environment for families, only a short walk
away.

Directions:
Take
junction 36 off the M6 onto the A590 towards
Barrow-in-Furness.
Take the B5277 through Grange-over-Sands
& Allithwaite into Flookburgh.
Turn left at the village square and the
park is straight down Moor Lane.
