The Boot Inn is a well known traditional 9 bedroomed Lakeland Inn .Whether it be in the Bar with its crackling log fire ,in the light and airy conservatory,or in the dining room ,which dates back to 1578, you are assured of a very warm welcome by Francis,Lesley and the friendly staff We are amidst some of the best scenery and walking areas that England has to offer - why not pay us a visit ?
The nine bedrooms all have ensuite bathroom facilities, are comfortably furnished and have tea and coffee making facilities. There are twin rooms,double rooms,a family room and a single room - all have lovely views.
At the end of an energetic day enjoy a drink in the Bar or the Snug next to a roaring log fire;or maybe relax in the Green room and plan your next day out with the help of our local maps. For your enjoyment there are traditional games available , a plasma sceen TV and why not see if you can beat the locals at a game of pool!
We have a great selection of real ales,a comprehensive wine list and some good malt whiskies.
You are welcome to explore our kitchen gardens and the children will enjoy the play area - the swings with views of the fells.
