National Trust working farm with
cattle, sheep, ducks and geese.
Bannerigg offers views of the Lakeland
fells and mountains of the Lake
District and can be found on the
main Kendal Road 1 mile or 10 minutes
walk from Windermere.
A farmhouse with
real character, charm, oak beams
offering bed and breakfast accommodation
with en-suite facilities and maintained
to a high standard of cleanliness
with television and tea and coffee
making facilities in all the rooms.
Accommodation comprises of 3 double
rooms or 2 double rooms and a twin
room. Car parking being off road.
As
you would expect on a working farm
the breakfast is a real hearty fayre. Select from the traditional English
breakfast menu,
vegetarians are also catered for
on request. With energy levels stocked
up, you are now ready to explore
this beautiful part of the Lake District with

300 years. A short drive away to the south of Kendal is
the ever popular Low
Sizergh Barn Farm Shop Tea Room
and Craft Gallery.

Orrest Head with its stunning views
of Lake Windermere and the Lakeland
fells. Fishing, cycling and mountain
biking, horse riding and golf are
a number of activities are available
within the area. Retail outlets,
