Bailey Mill is the ideal place to bring your horse on holiday or to hire one. It can offer a tailor made riding holiday for any ability. As it is situated on the Scottish borders, in Border Reiver country, you and your horse will love riding the debateable lands through miles of forest and quiet country lanes.

Full board riding holidays are available and unaccompanied children are welcome.
Escorted rides are available each day or maps are supplied for the many way marked rides. You can take part in our Trec events and picnic and pub rides. You can then return to relax in our jacuzzi and sauna before enjoying a drink and meal in our cosy,
fully licensed bar.

Accommodation

There are five self-catering courtyard apartments sleeping 2-9 people, with heating, electricity and linen included. There are also en-suite bed and breakfast rooms in single, twin and family. Each room has a TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities.
Groups can be accommodated in both self-catering and bed an breakfast rooms.

Horse accommodation

Bailey Mill has a purpose built stable block with Lodden stabling.
It has 2 boxes 12' x 12', 4 boxes 10' x 12' and 4 stalls.
There is a 4 acre turnout in 2 paddocks with an extra 50 acres if required.

Friday July 1st arrive for celebrity dinner and party
Saturday July 2nd shopping in Carlisle afternoon, attend evening race meeting
followed by concert by King of Queen

Sunday August 11th Carlisle Racing stopping for dinner on return.

Friday October 7th arrive for celebrity dinner
Saturday October 8th Racing at Hexham returning to Bailey Mill for buffet and bubbly.

Thursday November 3rd arrive for celebrity dinner
Friday November 4th Racing at Hexham returning to Bailey Mill for buffet and sing song.
Saturday November 5th Racing at Kelso return for bonfire and barbecue.

Saturday December 3rd arrive for celebrity dinner.
Sunday December 4th Racing at Carlisle stay in town for celebration dinner.

Children can stay behind and enjoy an "Own a Pony" day at a cost of £30 which includes lunch, lesson and riding.

Bailey Mill is ideal if you want the flexibility of bed and breakfast. Stay in our modern comfortable accommodation with lots of room and facilities. We can offer you the choice of a quad room, twin, double or single and we can accommodate up to nine people.

There are kitchen facilities also available for preparing snacks or an evening meal in addition to our licensed bar and restaurant facilities. You can still enjoy the area and also use our riding packages if you have children or
want to enjoy a family day out on the horses.

Bailey Mill also has range of apartments available for holidays and short breaks.
