Low Wood Watersports & Activity Centre for your water-skiing ?, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, archery and there is boat and bike hire available. The centre is known for quality and safety as well being recognised by the RYA, BWSE, BCU and also they hold the Young Persons Activities Adventure license. Armathwaite Hall Equestrian Centre can be found at Bassenthwaite Lake close to Keswick and caters for the novice and experienced riders. There are a number of escorted hacks along woodland trails, fields and private lakeshore to the backdrop of the Skiddaw mountains and the Lake of Bassenthwaite. Lessons available with qualified instructors and well-schooled horses to suit all standards of riders and ages. Also there is a cross country course and a 4* Hotel. Murthwaite Green Trekking Centre Riding Holidays and Pony Trekking for all ages and abilities. Situated on the scenic Lake District coast we offer Beach and Fell Rides all year round. 1/2 hour to full day treks on well-mannered, safe horses.
