THE QUAKER TAPESTRY EXHIBITION
The
Quaker Tapestry Exhibition tells the story of The
Quaker journey from the 17th-Century to the present day.
Beautifully illustrated you will discover over 300 hundred
years of history through 77 panels of community embroidery,
the work of more than 4000 men, women and children from
15 countries.
Quaker costumes can be found on display, embroidery demonstrations
and a Gift Shop.

TULLIE HOUSE MUSEUM &
ART GALLERY
Tullie House Museum and
Art Gallery depicts the story of Carlisle and the
Borders, Hadrian's Wall, Romans, local history, railways,
wildlife and see the Border Reivers audiovisual show with
displays of contemporary art in The Art Gallery.
Also exhibitions, family workshops, original Jacobean
House and a quality gift shop can be found along with
a restaurant.

HEATON COOPER STUDIO
Heaton
Cooper - The largest collection of colour reproductions
of the Lake District by William Heaton Cooper [1903-1995]
and his father Alfred Heaton Cooper [1863-1929], now run
by John Heaton Cooper.
Discover a permanent but changing exhibition of watercolours,
with prints, greeting cards, books, sculpture and of course
paintings framed and unframed along with the finest selections
of Art Materials for sale.

KESWICK MUSEUM & ART GALLERY
Keswick
Museum and Art Gallery is a local Victorian Museum
in which you will discover the history of Keswick, from
the industrial mining Centre to becoming a popular tourist
town and some of its famous residents.
The original manuscripts of the lake poets can be seen,
the famous five hundred [500] year old cat, Flintoft's
model of the Lake District, the musical stones and the
fine collection of crystals.
