The spectacular 70ft [21m] drop of Aire Force
tumbles down the wooded ravine to give a view to remember
from the nearby bridge.
You can enjoy a pleasant walk along a well surfaced
path to Aira Beck and High Force waterfalls.
There is a tea room available, toilets and a information
point.

TARN HOWS
Tarn Hows is one Lakeland's pearls
and most popular sites in the Lake District. It was
created by landscape architects in the middle of the
19th-Century and the Tarn is encircled by high fells.
You will find a well defined path around the Tarn, that
links with a number of paths so that you can explore
the woodlands and low level fells. In season there is
a National Trust Vehicle offering information. Walk
