CARLISLE CATHEDRAL

Carlisle CathedralCarlisle Cathedral - Founded in 1122 by King Henry I. The East Window, the Brougham Triptych which is a 16th -Century carved Flemish altarpiece and fine painted panels that depict the lives of the Saints. Medieval carving can be seen in the 15th-Century choir stalls along with other features.

Within the grounds this is a charming group of buildings and also a Gift Shop and a Restaurant.
