THEATRE by the LAKE

by the Lake offers all year round entertainment
that over looks Derwent Water and has seating for four
hundred [400] people.
You will find popular plays in repertory by professional
company between the months of June and October, studio
space, exhibitions and conference facilities. There
is also a bar and coffee shop for your refreshments.

LOW SIZERGH BARN FARM SHOP

Sizergh Barn Farm Shop Tea Room and Craft Gallery
can be found south of Kendal. With the food ranging
from traditional cheeses, local meats and delicious
baking, you will find one of the finest selections of
specialty foods in the country and in a 18th-Century
Westmorland stone barn.
In the afternoon around 3.45pm are able to watch the
cows being milked from the tearoom viewing window.

factories producing full lead crystal [Cumbrian Crystal]

Interiors [Kirkstone Galleries] was brought about
from the crafting of Lakeland stone, which has now developed
into a riverside showroom specialising incContemporary
interiors and furnishings.
You will find coffee tables to furniture and home accessories,
crafts and ideas for those unusual gifts.
In the Chesters Coffee Shop home made cakes, light lunches
can be found being served.

Studio where you will discover fine hand painted English
enamels and lustres.
They specialise in lamps, jardinieres, individual pieces,

LAKELAND MINIATURE VILLAGE
 At
Lakeland Miniature Village here you can look down,
discover and visit the Lake District in a day. Here you
will find miniature buildings which have been crafted
by Edward Robinson for example Hill Top [Beatrix Potter]
and also houses, farms, barns which are made from Coniston
slate.
All the buildings are in one third of an acre and have
been carefully reproduced. You will find disabled access
facilities.

LAKELAND SHEEP & WOOL
CENTRE

Lakeland Sheep & Wool Centre you will find
nineteen [19] breeds of live sheep and witness sheep shearing
and sheepdogs in action, geese and the dairy cow.

your woolly items and gifts.

THE TEAPOTTERY
 The
Teapottery is internationally known for its unique
handmade teapots where visitors can view a total of 59
eccentric teapot designs in all shapes and sizes. You
can also watch a short video which explains the process
of making of these wonderful teapots.
Afterwards visit the shop to browse and purchase one or
more of these charming teapots.
