Lake District Coast Aquarium [Maryport Aquaria] Situated on the South Quay, Maryport
on the West Coast of Cumbria.
You will find an entertaining but informative attraction
which will appeal to everyone of all ages as you discover
the close encounters of the deep of the Cumbria's seas
and coasts.
In the new purpose built Aquaria that contains over
30 creative displays, which bring to the attention and
importance of the Cumbria's seas and coasts. With the
aid of sufficient well presented realistically modelled
aquatic habitats in as close to natural conditions as
is possible and with easily read information displays
you will find the answers to most questions that might
arise during the course of a visit.
At certain times of the day you can watch the fish being
fed for more details on times and which fish visit their
Web site or contact them.
On site there is a restaurant and a shop where you can
browse and purchase your gifts.
There is also model
boat pool, an adventure playpark and mini golf.
