Beatrix Potter Gallery is situated in the picturesque village of Hawkshead. The gallery was once the office of her husband William Heelis. The gallery is owned by the National Trust.

Inside you will find that the interior remains virtually unaltered since his day.

Within the gallery you will find displays of her original drawings and information about the life of Beatrix Potter as an artist, author, farmer and the involvement in the conversation movement.

The gallery as annually changing exhibition of original sketches and watercolours from the children's classic tales.

Afterwards you can visit the shop to purchase or browse the Beatrix Potter gifts that are available.
