Watersports on Lake WindermereWatersports in the Lake District can offer so much fun and excitement especially if you like getting wet, then the Lakes is the place for you. The Watersports on offer range from Sailing, Canoeing, Kayaking and Boat Hire all found in the wonderful setting of the lakes to the backdrop of the Lakeland fells around Lake Windermere, Coniston, Derwent Water, Ullswater and Bassenthwaite.

Canoeing can also be found on a number of estuaries throughout Cumbria.

There is 10mph speed limit on Lake Windermere.

Speedboat on Lake WindermereWhatever your watersport you will find centers that offer tuition for the beginner right through to the experience person who want to brush up on their skills with quality and safety being of top priority and the centers holding the necessary certificates. You will also find the centers also provide the necessary equipment.
