Cyclists and Mountain Bikers have a wide variety of options that are suitable for beginners to experts with routes from woodland tracks in Grizedale and Whinlatter Forests and challenging climbs and descents with the summit of Skiddaw being the longest and can be found near Keswick which is not for the faint hearted or you could take life easy on the gentle country lanes and byroads which provide excellent cycling routes, whatever your level his you will certainly have stunning views to remember.

You will find plenty of establishments that offer fine refreshments and food to replenish your energy levels in the Lakes from cafe's to restaurants, pubs and hotels.
