1 Park Road is set in a quiet residential area of Windermere just a short stroll from the centre of Windermere and Bowness. Mary and Philip Burton have perfected this Les Routiers award winning bed and breakfast, to offer all the little extras, discerning guests have come to expect from a small luxury guest house. 1 Park Road is also suitable for a meeting venue for small groups who want time out, maybe with their partners or for business meetings- see special extras.
After parking in the private car park, walk into the house (that was once a gentleman's residence), where the blend between modern and traditional is apparent: the tiled floors in the hall, the original stained glass windows on the landing and the original stair case boasting fresh flowers. The overall feeling of this boutique bed and breakfast is one of tranquillity which many guests comment on.
1 Park Road plays its part in trying to tackle environmental issues through recycling, using energy in an efficient manner and sourcing produce from local suppliers to reduce air miles.
